AA92593 is an opsin 4 (OPN4) receptor antagonist (Ki = 16 nM). It inhibits light-induced calcium transients in CHO cells expressing human OPN4 (IC50 = 665 nM). AA92593 (10 µM) reverses light-induced calcium influx in rat intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells (ipRGCs).
