Whole blood is composed of plasma and blood cells - it therefore still contains all cellular components, serum and coagulation factors. In order to prevent separation into serum and cruor by clotting processes, an anticoagulant is added to the samples. This, as well as a number of other donor selection criteria, can be customized according to your needs. The products can be used in many important research approaches, including genetic analysis.
