Serum, Human IgA Standard

The serum contains assigned values for each of the subclasses of IgA and for total IgA:, IgA1: 2mg/ml , IgA2: 0.20mg/ml, Total IgA: 2.20mg/ml, Human Standard Serum has been tested and found negative for HbsAg and antibodies to HIV (HTLVIII). Applications: Suitable for use as a calibrator to prepare standard curves in quantitative determinations of the subclasses of human IgA. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilutions: , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
