Red Blood Cells

Red blood cells (erythrocytes) represent the largest group of blood cells and are responsible for the transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body. Erythrocytes are particularly interesting for research on blood diseases such as malaria or sickle cell anemia, or for analyses on hemoglobin content. At Research Donors you can choose between different anticoagulants, single donor or pooled samples and delivery temperatures. Delivery takes place one day after blood collection.
