Autocamtide 2 is a peptide substrate for calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase (CaMK) and CaMKII. It is selectively phosphorylated by CaMK over bovine brain protein kinase C (PKC, Kms = 2 and >50 µM, respectively).
