PLA2G3 belongs to the family of secreted phospholipase A2 (sPLA2, EC 3.1.1.4) proteins. These Ca(2+)-dependent lipolytic enzymes have a conserved Ca(2+)-binding loop and a his-asp dyad in the catalytic site (Murakami et al., 2003 [PubMed 12522102]). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
