Anti-CD97 (Leukocyte Antigen CD97, Seven Transmembrane Heterodimeric Receptor Associated with Inflam

CD97 is a 116kD member of the EGF subfamily of LNB-7TM multispan receptors. It is expressed on smooth muscle and immune cells and is upregulated during inflammation. CD97 binds CD55 and chondroitin sulfate. The N-terminal extracellular domain contains five tandem EGF-like domains and one GPS domain. Alternate splicing generates two additional isoforms with deletions in the EGF-like region. A noncovalently-linked heterodimer composed of alpha (ECD) and beta (7TM) subunits is generated by proteolytic cleavage within the GPS domain. Within the region included in this immunogen, human CD97 shares 49%-53% aa identity with canine, mouse, and rat CD97. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml, Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml, ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml, Neutralization: 0.5-2.5ug/mL in the presence of 4ug/mL Recombinant Human CD97., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
