Exosome storage stability has long posed a significant challenge in exosome research. Typically, exosomes are stored in PBS at -80°C, however, prolonged storage and repeated freeze-thaw cycles can lead to substantial degradation of their activity, structural integrity, and cargo content. To overcome this issue, a specialized exosome cryopreservation solution has been developed. When mixed directly with exosome samples and stored at temperatures ranging from -5°C to -20°C or -80°C, this solution significantly enhances both short-term and long-term stability.
