Product information "Ubiquitin Thioesterase OTUB2/OTUB2 Protein(N-GST) (recombinant human)"
Protein Construction: Recombinant Human Ubiquitin Thioesterase OTUB2 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-His234 is expressed with a GST tag at the N-terminus. Sequence: Met 1-His234. Fusion tag: N-GST Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per µg as determined by the LAL method. Apparent Molecular Mass: 52 kDa. Protein function: Ubiquitin Thioesterase OTUB2 belongs to the peptidase C65 family, functions as a hydrolase that can remove conjugated ubiquitin from proteins in vitro, may plays an important regulatory role at the level of protein turnover by preventing degradation. OTUB2 is expressed at higher levels in the brain. Protein function: Hydrolase that can remove conjugated ubiquitin from proteins in vitro and may therefore play an important regulatory role at the level of protein turnover by preventing degradation. Mediates deubiquitination of 'Lys-11'-,'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'- linked polyubiquitin chains, with a preference for 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. [The UniProt Consortium]
