Tissue Plasminogen Activator, non-enzymatic, Recombinant, Human (tPA)

Human tPA has the active site mutation S478A, which renders it catalytically inactive. It is >90% single chain and retains exosite binding as well as other properties of wild type tPA. Recombinant, produced in insect cells. Source: Recombinant corresponding to human tPA expressed in insect cell culture. Molecular Weight: ~70kD, Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
