Product information "THAP1, Recombinant, Human, aa1-213, His-Tag (THAP domain-containing protein 1)"
THAP domain-containing protein 1, also known as THAP1, is a 213aa protein that localizes to the nucleoplasm and contains one THAPtype zinc finger, a conserved DNA-binding domain. It is a DNA-binding transcription regulator that regulates endothelial cell proliferation and G1/S cell-cycle progression. THAP1 may also have pro-apoptopic activity by potentiating both serum-withdrawal and TNF-induced apoptosis. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-213 of human THAP1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~27.5kD, AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MGSHMVQSCS AYGCKNRYDK DKPVSFHKFP LTRPSLCKEW EAAVRRKNFK PTKYSSICSE HFTPDCFKRE CNNKLLKENA VPTIFLCTEP HDKKEDLLEP QEQLPPPPLP PPVSQVDAAI GLLMPPLQTP VNLSVFCDHN YTVEDTMHQR KRIHQLEQQV EKLRKKLKTA QQRCRRQERQ LEKLKEVVHF QKEKDDVSER GYVILPNDYF EIVEVPA, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
