Tetanus Toxoid

Tetanus toxoid is prepared by formaldehyde inactivation of the neurotoxin, tetanus toxin. Formulations containing tetanus toxoid have been used as vaccines to produce immunity to tetanus, the disease caused by C. tetani infection.Formulation: (Request formulation change), Each vial, when reconstituted with 50 µl of water, contains 25 µg of tetanus toxoid in 100 mM histidine, 100 mM NaCl, pH 7.0 and 5% trehalose.
