Recombinant Rat ADP-ribosyl Cyclase/cyclic ADP-ribose Hydrolase 1 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Trp45-Val303 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Synthesizes the second messengers cyclic ADP-ribose and nicotinate-adenine dinucleotide phosphate, the former a second messenger for glucose-induced insulin secretion. Also has cADPr hydrolase activity. [The UniProt Consortium]
