Product information "RANK, Recombinant, Mouse:Fc (TNFRSF11A, ODFR, Osteoclast Differentiation Factor Receptor, CD265)"
RANK (TRANCE-R, CD265) is the receptor for RANKL/TRANCE/OPGL. It is essential for RANKL-mediated osteoclastogenesis and is involved in the regulation of interactions between T cells and dendritic cells. Sequence: Mouse RANK (aa31-214) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Biological Activity: Inhibits mouse and human RANKL biological functions. Molecular Weight: ~55kD (SDS-PAGE), Endotoxin: <0.01EU/ug (LAL test, Lonza). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
