PSAT1 is likely a phosphoserine aminotransferase, based on similarity to proteins in mouse, rabbit, and Drosophila. It belongs to class-V of pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent aminotransferases and is required both in major phosphorylated pathway of serine biosynthesis and in the biosynthesis of pyridoxine. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to PSAT1, fused to T7 tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~42.6kD, Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
