Alkaline Phosphatase is used to dephosphorylate dsDNA and RNA in molecular cloning and DNA sequencing reactions. This is a cost effective conjugation grade used in antibody preparation supplied as a lyophilized powder. Activity: 1,500-2,500 units/mg protein , Unit Definition: The amount of enzyme which liberates 1umole of p-nitrophenol from p-nitrophenyl phosphate per minute at 37°C, pH 9.8 in diethanolamine buffer.
