Recombinant PE-Labeled Human HLA-A*02:01&B2M&MART-1 (ELAGIGILTV) Tetramer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminus. PE-Labeled Human HLA-A*02:01&B2M&MART-1 (ELAGIGILTV) Tetramer is assembled by biotinylated monomer and PE-labeled streptavidin.It contains Gly25-Thr305(HLA-A*02:01), Ile21-Met119(B2M) and ELAGIGILTV peptide. Melanoma antigen recognized by T cell-1 (Mart-1), one of the melanosome-specific proteins, also recognized by cytotoxicity T lymphocytes as a marker. Mart-1 is considered to play a critical role in the immunotherapy for melanoma. Protein function: Component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. Exogenously applied M.tuberculosis EsxA or EsxA-EsxB (or EsxA expressed in host) binds B2M and decreases its export to the cell surface (total protein levels do not change), probably leading to defects in class I antigen presentation (PubMed:25356553).
