Myoglobin (Western Blot Control)

Protein Length: Met1- Gly154. Protein Tag: N terminal containing a HIS tag. Myoglobin, a haem protein which has no known isoforms, is expressed in all striated muscle tissue. Myoglobin has been demonstrated to be an early marker for myocardial infarction. The measurement of myoglobin over a 9 hour period was the most predictive of subsequent adverse events in patients evaluated for possible acute coronary syndrome. RANDOX recombinant Myoglobin comprises a 154 amino acid fragment (1-154) corresponding to the mature Myoglobin protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag.
