Recombinant Mouse Cytosolic Non-specific Dipeptidase is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Asn475 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Hydrolyzes a variety of dipeptides including L-carnosine but has a strong preference for Cys-Gly. Catalyzes the production of N- lactoyl-amino acids from lactate and amino acids by reverse proteolysis. [The UniProt Consortium]
