Protein Length: Gln28- Val482. Protein Tag: N terminal containing a HIS tag. ICAM-1 is a single chain membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of a variety of nonhaematopoietic and haematopoietic cell types and has roles in signal transduction, cell signalling and lymphocyte adhesion. Soluble ICAM-1 is detectable in the plasma and is elevated in patients with various inflammatory conditions. RANDOX recombinant ICAM-1 comprises a 455 amino acid fragment (28-482) corresponding to the mature extracellular domain of the ICAM protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
