Recombinant Human Ubiquitin-Conjugating Enzyme E2 R2 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Ser238 is expressed with a 6His tag at the N-terminus. Protein function: Accepts ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. In vitro catalyzes monoubiquitination and 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination. May be involved in degradation of katenin. [The UniProt Consortium]
