Biotinylated Recombinant Human Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala22-Arg788 is expressed with a Avi, 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Binds LDL, the major cholesterol-carrying lipoprotein of plasma, and transports it into cells by endocytosis. In order to be internalized, the receptor-ligand complexes must first cluster into clathrin-coated pits. [The UniProt Consortium]
