Recombinant Human Inositol Monophosphatase 2 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Lys288 is expressed with a 6His tag at the N-terminus. Protein function: Can use myo-inositol monophosphates, scylloinositol 1,4- diphosphate, glucose-1-phosphate, beta-glycerophosphate, and 2'-AMP as substrates. Has been implicated as the pharmacological target for lithium Li(+) action in brain. [The UniProt Consortium]
