Recombinant Human Hydroxyacid Oxidase 1 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Ile370 is expressed with a Trx, 6His tag at the N-terminus. Protein function: Has 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity. Most active on the 2- carbon substrate glycolate, but is also active on 2-hydroxy fatty acids, with high activity towards 2-hydroxy palmitate and 2-hydroxy octanoate. [The UniProt Consortium]
