Recombinant Human FGF4 Protein is expressed from E.coli without tag.It contains Ala31-Leu206. Fibroblast growth factor-4 (FGF-4), a highly mitogenic protein encoded by the k-fgf/hst oncogene, stimulates the growth of a variety of cells of mesenchymal and neuroectodermal origin. It is a member of the FGF family and plays several important roles in bone development during embryogenesis. Protein function: Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation. Required for normal limb and cardiac valve development during embryogenesis. [The UniProt Consortium]
