Recombinant Human Cystatin S is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ser21-Ala141 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: This protein strongly inhibits papain and ficin, partially inhibits stem bromelain and bovine cathepsin C, but does not inhibit porcine cathepsin B or clostripain.
