Recombinant Human Glycoprotein Hormones Alpha Chain is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala25-Ser116 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Shared alpha chain of the active heterodimeric glycoprotein hormones thyrotropin/thyroid stimulating hormone/TSH, lutropin/luteinizing hormone/LH, follitropin/follicle stimulating hormone/FSH and choriogonadotropin/CG. These hormones bind specific receptors on target cells that in turn activate downstream signaling pathways. [The UniProt Consortium]
