Recombinant Human Complement Factor H-Related 2 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Glu19-Lys270 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Involved in complement regulation. The dimerized forms have avidity for tissue-bound complement fragments and efficiently compete with the physiological complement inhibitor CFH. Can associate with lipoproteins and may play a role in lipid metabolism. [The UniProt Consortium]
