Recombinant Human Bone Marrow Proteoglycan is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Leu17-Tyr222 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Cytotoxin and helminthotoxin. Also induces non-cytolytic histamine release from human basophils. Involved in antiparasitic defense mechanisms and immune hypersensitivity reactions. The proform acts as a proteinase inhibitor, reducing the activity of PAPPA. [The UniProt Consortium]
