Recombinant Human Bridging Integrator 2 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Asn244 is expressed with a 6His tag at the N-terminus. Protein function: Promotes cell motility and migration, probably via its interaction with the cell membrane and with podosome proteins that mediate interaction with the cytoskeleton. Modulates membrane curvature and mediates membrane tubulation. Plays a role in podosome formation. Inhibits phagocytosis. [The UniProt Consortium]
