Recombinant full-length human HSP10 was expressed in E. coli cells using an N-Terminal Glutathione-S-Transferase fusion protein. The purity was determined to be >90% by densitometry. Protein function: Eukaryotic CPN10 homolog which is essential for mitochondrial protein biogenesis, together with CPN60. Binds to CPN60 in the presence of Mg-ATP and suppresses the ATPase activity of the latter. [The UniProt Consortium]
