Product information "BTD, Recombinant, Human, aa44-545, His-Tag (Biotinidase)"
BTD, also known as biotinidase isoform 1, is a member of the nitrilase superfamily, which consists of 12 families of nitrilases, amidases, carbamylases, and N-acyltrasferases. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of biocytin, the product of biotin-dependent carboxylase degradation, to biotin and lysine. It may have an important regulatory role in chromatin/DNA function. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa44-545 from human BTD, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~57.8kD (510aa), 50-70kD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions), Endotoxin: <1EU/1ug (determined by LAL method), AA Sequence: AHTGEESVAD HHEAEYYVAA VYEHPSILSL NPLALISRQE ALELMNQNLD IYEQQVMTAA MPSPQVVRWN PCLEPHRFND TEVLQRLSCM AIRGDMFLVA NLGTKEPCHS SDPRCPKDGR DVPLKVDLIT FDTPFAGRFG IFTCFDILFF DPAIRVLRDY KVKHVVYPTA WMNQLPLLAA GIHTPLESFW YHDMENPKSH LIIAQVAKNP VGLIGAENAT GETDPSHSKF LKILSGDPYC NFTLVPVWGK EGYLHVCSNG LCCYLLYERP TLSKELYALG VFDGLHTVHG TYYIQVCALV TSYIFPLFLT SGMTLEVPDQ LGWENDHYFL RKSRLSSGLV TAALYGRLYE RDLEHHHHHH QKDVQIIVFP EDGIHGFNFT RTSIYPFLDF YQFNTNVVFS NNGTLVDRYR KHNLYFEAAF IEIQKAFAVA FGINVLAANV HHPVLGMTGS EKDAQEVHCD EATKWNVNAP PTFHSEMMYD RCGGLGFDTC GQEITEATGI FEFHLWGNFS, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
