beta-L-Arabinofuranosidase 137A & beta-Glucuronidase 2A (BtHyp137A-Gus2A), assigned the E.C. number 3.2.1.185 and 3.2.1.31, is a derivative of Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. It is a bifunctional beta-L-arabinofuranosidase and beta-glucuronidase. The recombinant BtHyp137A-Gus2A, purified from Escherichia coli, is a modular Glycoside Hydrolase family 137 and 2 (GH137 and GH2) enzyme, with a family 2 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH2), a family 57 Carbohydrate Binding Module (CBM57) and a C-terminal family 35 Carbohydrate Binding Module (CBM35) (see more details at www.cazy.org).The protein is supplied in a solution containing 35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM Imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a concentration of 1 mg/mL.
