(+)-alpha-Tocopherol acetate (CRM) (Cay-42624) is a certified reference material categorized as an acetate form of (+)-alpha-tocopherol, which is a biologically active form of vitamin E. (+)-alpha-Tocopherol acetate is used as an additive in vaping mixtures for electronic cigarettes. It has been found in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of patients with electronic-cigarette, or vaping, product use-associated lung injury (EVALI).
