5-methoxy MiPT

5-methoxy MiPT is a psychedelic tryptamine related to N-methyl-N-isopropyltryptamine. It potently inhibits the re-uptake of the monoamines serotonin and norepinephrine (IC50s = 6.4 and 2.6 µM, respectively), but does not affect dopamine re-uptake. 5-methoxy MiPT has no effect on the release of monoamines from rat brain synaptosomes.
