Triamcinolone hexacetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid and prodrug form of triamcinolone acetonide (Cay-18026). Intra-articular administration of triamcinolone hexacetonide decreases joint swelling in a rabbit model of adjuvant-induced arthritis. Formulations containing triamcinolone hexacetonide have been used in the treatment of various autoimmune dermatoses.. Solulibility: DMSO: Soluble: =10 mg/ml: Ethanol: Sparingly Soluble: 1-10 mg/ml.
