Tetromycin C5 is a polyketide that has been found in Streptomyces and has antibiotic activity. It is active against S. aureus, E. faecalis, methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA), and vancomycin-resistant Enterococci (VRE. IC50s = 10, 13, 10. and 7. µM, respectively).
