Picloram

Picloram is an herbicide. It increases membrane lipid peroxidation, reduces catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, and induces mitochondrial membrane and chloroplast injury in E. adenophorum when applied at 120-240 g/hectare. Picloram inhibits root growth in A. thaliana (IC50 = 5.8 µM). Residual picloram has been detected in soil more than two years after application.
