Hydrocortisone aceponate is a corticosteroid. Topical application of hydrocortisone aceponate (0.0584%) reduces lesion size and pruritis in cats with allergic dermatitis. It also induces remission and increases time to relapse in dogs with spontaneous atopic dermatitis.
