C18 Ganglioside GD3-d7 (d18:1/18:0-d7) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of C18 ganglioside GD3 by GC- or LC-MS. C18 Ganglioside GD3 is a ganglioside containing stearic acid (Cay-10011298) as the acyl chain. Intratumoral levels of C18 ganglioside GD3 are increased in tissue from patients with anaplastic ganglioglioma compared to levels in peritumoral or non-pathological brain tissue.
