AA-T3A-C12

AA-T3A-C12 is an ionizable cationic lipidoid that contains a polyamine core, tethered to the sigma receptor ligand anisamide, and four 12-carbon tails. It has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). LNPs containing AA-T3A-C12 and encapsulating siRNA for Hsp47, a molecular chaperone whose expression is increased in liver fibrosis, reduce the expression of Hsp47 in activated NIH3T3 mouse liver fibroblasts and primary mouse hepatic stellate cells, which both express high levels of the sigma receptor.
