Molecular weight: ~1300. Excitation (nm): 752. Emission (nm): 776. Extinction coefficient (cm-1 M-1): 290000. Quantum yield: 0.12. XFD750 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor(R) 750 (Alexa Fluor(R) is the trademark of ThermoFisher). XFD750 is a bright red fluorescent dye. It is water soluble and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. The NHS ester (or succinimidyl ester) of XFD750 is the most convenient amine-reactive form for conjugating this dye to a protein or antibody.
