Product information "XFD647 Phalloidin *equivalent to Alexa Fluor(R) 647 phalloidin*"
Correction Factor (260 nm): 0.00 Correction Factor (280 nm): 0.03 Extinction coefficient (cm^-1 M^-1): 239000 Excitation (nm): 604 Emission (nm): 671 Quantum yield: 0.33 (PBS). XFD647, produced by AAT Bioquest, shares the identical chemical structure as Alexa Fluor(R) 647 (Alexa Fluor(R) being the trademark of ThermoFisher). The XFD647 phalloidin conjugate is essentially equivalent to Alexa Fluor(R) 647 phalloidin and exhibits a far-red fluorescent signal. This conjugate specifically binds to F-actins, and when used at nanomolar concentrations, it serves as a convenient tool for labeling, identifying, and quantifying F-actins in formaldehyde-fixed and permeabilized tissue sections, cell cultures, or cell-free experiments. The application of fluorescent phalloidin derivatives, such as XFD647, has proven crucial in the detailed examination of actin networks at high resolution. AAT Bioquest provides a range of fluorescent phalloidin derivatives in different colors to facilitate multicolor imaging applications. They are fully compatible with other fluorescent stains used in cellular analyses, including fluorescent proteins, Qdot(TM) nanocrystals, and other iFluor(R) conjugates, including secondary antibodies. Solvent: DMSO.
