UGO Rho6G is a new rhodamine dye based on the well-known laser dye Rhodamine 6G. This fluorescent label is functionalized for coupling to biomolecules such as DNA, RNA, or proteins. UGO Rho6G exhibits strong absorption, an exceptionally high fluorescence quantum yield, excellent thermal and photostability, and minimal triplet formation. These properties make it highly suitable for single-molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy applications. After coupling to a substrate, UGO Rho6G carries a net electric charge of +1 and is moderately hydrophilic. Chemical Properties Storage Upon receipt, store at -20°C in the dark.
