UGO 594 is a novel fluorescent marker based on the rhodamine structure. It features strong absorption, a very high fluorescence quantum yield, excellent thermal and photochemical stability, and outstanding water solubility. UGO 594 is particularly suitable for single-molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy techniques such as PALM, dSTORM, and STED. The dye is highly hydrophilic and water-soluble. After coupling to a substrate, it carries a single negative charge. Efficient fluorescence excitation occurs within the 580-615 nm wavelength range. Chemical Properties Storage Upon receipt, store at -20°C in the dark. Protect from light and moisture. When stored as indicated, UGO NHS-esters are stable for at least 3 years.
