UGA 700 is a bright and photostable near-IR dye that can be excited using a xenon-arc lamp, far-red diode lasers, or dye-pumped lasers operating in the 675-700 nm range. It is designed for consistent signal generation in imaging and flow cytometry, offering water solubility and stability across a pH range of 4 to 10. The fluorescence of this long-wavelength UGA dye is not visible to the human eye but is easily detected by most imaging systems. In addition to reactive dye formulations, UGA 700 dye is available conjugated to a variety of antibodies, peptides, proteins, tracers, and amplification substrates, making it highly effective for cellular labeling and detection.
