Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 is a water-soluble, hydrophilic near-infrared (NIR) dye designed for NIR imaging applications. Its structure and spectral properties are similar to indocyanine green (ICG), a dye long approved for human use. However, unlike ICG, Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 features a trimethylene bridge, which enhances its quantum yield, and includes a linker arm for attaching to proteins, peptides, and other molecules.
