PE (R-Phycoerythrin)

PE (R-Phycoerythrin) is a phycobiliprotein purified from a specises of red algae. It is made up of (ab)6gamma subunit structure. PE (R-Phycoerythrin) is supplied in 100 mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH7.0 with 60% saturated (NH4)2SO4, 1 mM EDTA and 1 mM Sodium Azide. Molecular Weight: 240 kDa Absorption Maximum: 566 nm Emission Maximum: 575 nm Extinction Coefficient: 1.96×106cm-1M-1 Quantum Yield: 0.840 Instruction: Mix thoroughly PE (R-Phycoerythrin) until no precipitate is observed to get homogeneous solution. Further removal all the remaining ammonium sulfate and buffer exchange to the conjugation buffer.
