Molecular weight: 974.20. Excitation (nm): 667. Emission (nm): 692. Absorbance (nm): 661. AAT Bioquest's iFluor(TM) dyes are optimized for labeling proteins, in particular, antibodies. These dyes are bright, photostable and have minimal quenching on proteins. They can be well excited by the major laser lines of fluorescence instruments (e.g., 350, 405, 488, 532, 555, 633 and 647 nm). iFluor(TM) 665 family has the spectral properties similar to those of Alexa Fluor(R) 660 (Alexa Fluor(R) is the trademark of Invitrogen). iFluor(TM) 665 family has fluorescence that is pH-independent from pH 3 to 11. These spectral characteristics make this new dye family an excellent alternative to Alexa Fluor(R) 660. Under the same conditions, iFluor(TM) 665 gives stronger fluorescence signal on some antibodies we tested. iFluor(TM) 665 SE is reasonably stable and shows good reactivity and selectivity with protein amino groups.
