Product information "iFluor(TM) 450 succinimidyl ester"
Molecular weight: 603.69 Excitation (nm): 451, Emission (nm): 502, Extinction coefficient (cm-1 M-1): 40000, Quantum yield: 0.82, Correction factor (280 nm): 0.27. AAT Bioquest's iFluor(TM) dyes are optimized for labeling proteins, in particular, antibodies. These dyes are bright, photostable and have minimal quenching on proteins. They can be well excited by the major laser lines of fluorescence instruments (e.g., 350, 405, 488, 555 and 633 nm). iFluor(TM) 450 dyes have fluorescence excitation and emission maxima of ~450 nm and ~510 nm respectively. These spectral characteristics make them an excellent choice for multicolor applications. iFluor(TM) 450 SE is reasonably stable and shows good reactivity and selectivity with protein amino groups. iFluor(TM) 450 SE provides a convenient tool to label monoclonal, polyclonal antibodies or other proteins (>10 kDa) for fluorescence imaging and flow cytometric applications. iFluor(TM) 450 dye conjugates are bright, providing an additional color located between Alexa Fluor(R) 430 and 488 (ThermoFisher).
